DILG XI personnel participates in Marilog Tree Growing Project

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XI personnel joins the Tree Growing Activity spearheaded by the Association of Regional Executives of National Agencies (ARENA) XI on June 29, 2018 at Davao Region Upland Agriculture Research Station (DARUARS) in Marahan, Marilog District, Davao City.


Fruit and Lawaan seedlings are planted by the employees from different agencies during the activity.

The activity was hosted by the Department of Agriculture (DA) and DARUARS. They provided 800 fruit and Lawaan seedlings for planting and will benefit the Matigsalog and Manobo people.

The tree growing activity is in line with the celebration of the Philippine Environment Month. It was participated by around 250 personnel from different agencies in Davao region.
